Clara Arpa, Chief Executive of ARPA Equipos Móviles de Campaña, has received the TEDAE Award for Professional Excellence, a recognition that honours her business career and her contribution to the development of the Spanish defence, security, aeronautics and space industries.
The award was presented as part of the sixth edition of the TEDAE Awards, organised by the Spanish Association of Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies to recognise individuals and organisations whose work makes an outstanding contribution to technical, industrial and social progress in these sectors.
TEDAE has highlighted Clara Arpa’s career, which has been characterised by leadership, innovation and corporate responsibility, as well as her commitment to internationalisation and sustainability.
Under his leadership, ARPA has continued to evolve, establishing itself as an international leader in the design, manufacture and supply of deployable logistics solutions designed to meet the needs of the armed forces, humanitarian aid, civil protection and emergency response, with a presence in over a hundred countries.
For the whole ARPA team, this recognition is also a source of pride and an incentive to continue working in line with the values that have guided the company throughout its history: innovation, excellence, industrial capability, an international outlook and a commitment to society.
The TEDAE Award for Professional Excellence also recognises an approach to business in which technological development and industrial competitiveness go hand in hand with social responsibility and sustainability.
The gala also featured a tribute to Julián García Vargas, the founding president of TEDAE who recently passed away, who was posthumously awarded the TEDAE Lifetime Achievement Award. Meanwhile, the Air and Space Force was honoured with the TEDAE Award for Social Commitment.
