The Norwegian company is consolidating ARPA’s position as a leading industrial partner and expanding its involvement in the supply and integration of new NASAMS air defence system units destined for various countries.
ARPA and KONGSBERG are strengthening their strategic partnership by extending the industrial collaboration agreement signed in May 2025 at FEINDEF, thereby consolidating a relationship based on technical excellence, reliability and mutual trust.

The new agreement provides for the manufacture of multiple units for various international programmes under the NASAMS air defence system, with deliveries scheduled over the coming months.
This expansion represents a significant recognition of ARPA’s industrial capabilities and the excellent results achieved in the collaborations undertaken to date. The Spanish company is not only responsible for manufacturing the shelters that house the control systems, but also for integrating the equipment and subsystems within them, providing a solution of high technological value and considerable engineering complexity.
KONGSBERG’s decision to extend this collaboration to international programmes demonstrates that ARPA has moved beyond its role as a supplier to become a trusted industrial partner and a key player within its value chain.

This new milestone highlights ARPA’s ability to meet the most demanding international standards of quality, precision and technological integration, thereby strengthening its position within the European defence industry.
Beyond simply being a new contract, this extension confirms KONGSBERG’s confidence in ARPA’s industrial excellence and in its ability to take on ever-greater responsibilities in strategic air defence programmes at an international level.
