ARPA has played a leading role in the latest edition of the H2 Tours organised by the Aragón Hydrogen Foundation, a programme that brings key players in the sector together with leading industrial projects in the field of renewable hydrogen.
During the event, held at our premises, a delegation of board members—led by the acting Director-General for Industrial Promotion and Innovation, Mar Paños—was able to see first-hand ARPA’s capabilities and developments in this strategic area for the energy transition.

Comprehensive solutions for a decarbonised industry
During the visit, ARPA presented its comprehensive approach to developing hydrogen-based solutions, covering the entire value chain: from renewable production to compression, storage and dispensing systems for transport and industry.
Among the key projects, progress was reported on:
- Decarbonisation of heavy industry using zero-emission furnaces
- Hydrogen-based energy backup systems
- Applications for critical processes and energy-intensive sectors
- Refuelling stations with a capacity of up to 1,000 kg per day for various modes of transport
Innovative solutions for demanding environments were also showcased, such as resilient energy infrastructure, on-site generation, hybrid systems incorporating renewables, and applications in sustainable building.
Innovation and collaboration as the driving force behind the ecosystem
The visit served to reinforce ARPA’s role as a key player in the development of the hydrogen sector in Aragón, highlighting the technological capabilities and leadership of the region’s companies.
The Aragón Hydrogen Foundation emphasised that initiatives of this kind foster collaboration between organisations, creating new opportunities for joint projects and strengthening the industrial ecosystem.
Commitment to the future of energy
During the meeting, the role of hydrogen as a key energy carrier was highlighted, not only for decarbonisation but also for improving competitiveness, resilience and energy security.
At ARPA, we reaffirm our commitment to developing innovative and sustainable energy solutions, actively contributing to the transition towards a more efficient and responsible industrial model.
